Can you believe it? All of these dishes are prepared by my mum-in-law alone. She will prepare a fabulous meal for us every time we go back.
I really appreciate what she has done for us. I am so touched because all the dishes are prepared using the best ingredients. For example, ‘kampong’ chicken (free-range chicken), peanut roots, fresh chilli sauce, and …
Steamed ‘Kampong’ chicken
Fried black pomfret
fresh chilli sauce with lime juice
Fried sweet potato leaves
Leek with prawn and tofu
Root of peanut plant with pork ribs soup
Do you know that is difficult to find ‘kampong’ chicken nowadays? They are more expensive, and only available at certain wet markets and not at supermarket. Do you know… …
How deep the love I can feel from your dishes… …

Hi SmartShop,
root of the peanut plant only used for the soup, it's quite popular in Asia. It's tasteless and can be found in the Asian wet market.
Yeah, my mother-in-law is a great cook, I have learnt a lot from her :)
